How Desktop as a Service Works?

Desktop as a Service or DaaS is a cloud computing solution. In DaaS, Virtual Desktops (VD) are created, run and managed over a central data center of a Cloud Service Provider (CSP). End user experience is almost identical to that of your regular desktop PC. All the related data and productivity applications are also served from the data center of the CSP. The user can access the VD from any device such as smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop. The CSP will either provide a login interface or the user can simply login to the VD through a web browser. Regardless of the login device or its operating system, all the user needs to access the VD is an internet connection. When a user logs into the VD from another device at some other time, work can be started exactly from where it was left off.
