Amazon Web Services Outage
As you may have heard, on Tuesday, February 28, Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced an outage. This caused disruptions Sunday morning for customers and clients. Some of Amazon’s high profile customers include: Netflix, IMDB, GroupMe, Viber, dating application Tinder, and Airbnb.
This is not the first time that Amazon Web Services crashed. In 2013, AWS suffered a similar outage, which led to services like Instagram, Airbnb and Vine going down.
Apple Breach
Following the AWS outage, another big name in tech is in the hot seat. Apple confirmed today its first major iTunes hack. The iTunes App Store in China was infected by malware.
#SkypeDown
And those of you who tried to log in to Skype this morning, may have also found the service down.
